Division 5 League
Our third team were the first of our men’s teams in action for 2008. Visiting St Osnats were the more focused team on the day and despite some good individual performances by the Kiltubrid lads it wasn’t enough to stop the visitors from collecting their first brace of league points. The game was played in Kiltubrid and the pitch was in great shape considering the recent bad weather. The training field despite its heavy usage is proving to be a great facility especially when it comes to having the main field in the best possible condition for games.
Championship Draw
The 2008 Club Championship Draw will take place on Monday night March 31st in the Bush Hotel. As with previous years the draw will be aired live on Shannonside FM and presented by John Lynch. The large screen live draw system will also feature on the night.
Clean Licence
With no points so far, Leitrim are still motoring towards their first points with Sligo the next stop in the league radar. Fermanagh’s incursion south was a lucky day for them as Leitrim failed to hold on to their merited lead, letting the visitors smuggle another brace of points northwards. Disappointment for players, management and supporters alike, but we still look forward to next Sunday for a better result against Sligo in Pairc Sean.
Shield Competition
Next Saturday 15th March our Senior Men’s team take on St Caillins in Fenagh at 5 pm, and on Sunday 16th March our Div 4 Team play Ballinaglera at 12.00 in Kiltubrid.
