Mixed emotions were experienced on Sunday evening in Paric Sean as reigning County Champs Aughavas grabbed an equalising point with virtually the last kick of the game. Five points in arrears at half time seemed to spur our lads on as they nibbled away at the deficit to go one point up with just three minutes left. We try and not mention any individual players in these lines but no one can argue with our choice of "star of the game" - the ever talented, tireless and super midfielder Christy Carroll who played the game of his life in this one. One cannot be critical of any of the team as each contributed hugely to the result. Again thanks to you our great supporters for lifting the team at critical milestones during the game. The replay takes place next Sunday in Paric Sean at 6.30pm with extra time to be played if necessary. Again we urge the supporters to come along and show your great support and encouragement.
