Great scenes of joy and celebration followed our victory over neighbours St. Caillins, Fenagh on Sunday afternoon. Picking from an injury ridden panel was the unenviable task of our selectors who have pushed and encouraged all the players to a level of great confidence in themselves as players. the game itself was great end to end stuff, entertaining both sets of supporters who deserve thanks for turning out in such numbers to cheer on the teams. We extend good wishes to Aidan Bohan who badly injured his shoulder towards the end of the game after sprinting for over forty five minutes non stop. Hoping to have you back soon Aidan along with all the other injured panellists. Next games is against neighbours on our western frontier, Allen Gaels on 17th June. I won't name any players who played well etc. but suffice it to say it was an exceptional team performance on the day. Training as usual with no excuses if we are to progress further in the competition. thanks to Marie Lee for the express delivery of the jerseys in Cloone in time for the game. Again thanks for all players and you the supporters for a memorable occasion for our club. We wish Fenagh the best of luck in the rest of the first round and thank all of them for their friendship at the end of the game.
