Confessions: There will be confessions after Mass in St. Brigids Church on Sat morning 26th July and in St. Josephs Church on Sat evening 26th July.

 

Eucharistic Adoration: Eucharistic Adoration takes place in St. Brigids Church on Tue from 10.00am to 12.00noon and from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.  A Holy Hour with the Rosary takes place in St. Josephs Church, Rantogue each Wed from 8.00-9.00pm.  “To Jesus through Mary”.  The Lord is calling you to believe, adore, trust ,love

 

Cemetary Sunday & Mountain Roots Celebration:

 

Cemetery Sunday will take place on Sun 3rd August with Prayers for the Dead and the Blessing of Graves commencing at 6.00pm.  

The Mountain Roots Celebration will commence afterwards with the celebration of the Eucharist in St. Brigids Church a 7.00pm. 

After the celebration of the Eucharist refreshments will be served in St. Brigids National School. 

The Mountain Roots Banquet will take place in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon at 9.00pm that night.

 

Childhood Immunisation: Children starting school in Sept are advised by the Health Service Executive to be fully vaccinated with the pre-school booster 4 in 1 and MMR prior to starting school.  For further info please contact Una Duffy, Immunisation Nurse Specialist at 087 9048781.

 

Death: Your prayers are requested for the happy repose of the soul of Mark Murray who died in Stockport last weekend. R.I.P.

 

Conservation Grant: We wish to thank Leitrim County Council for their grant of €13,000 towards the cost of stormglazing the windows of St. Brigids Church.  The final cost to the parish for this work was €25,431.00.
