First Friday: Fri 1^st August is the 1^st Fri of the month. The visits to the sick and housebound will be made at the usual times.

Cemetary Sun & Mountain Roots Celebration: Cemetary Sun will take place on Sun 3^rd August with prayers for the Dead and the Blessing of Graves commencing at 6.00pm. The Mountain Roots Celebration will commence afterwards with the celebration of the Eucharist in St. Brigids Church at 7.00pm.

After the celebration of the Eucharist refreshments will be served in St. Brigids National School. The Mountain Roots Banquet will take place in the Bush Hotel, Ck-on-Shannon at 9.00pm that night.

There will be NO celebration of the Sun Eucharist at 11.30am on Sun 3^rd August. At the celebration of the Eucharist on Sun evening 3^rd August at 7.00pm we ask our Parishioners to place their Church collection envelopes in the baskets provided at the entrance to St. Brigids Church as they enter the Church. There will also be a collection at the Cemetaries for the upkeep and maintenance of the cemeteries. There will be rehersal for those who are participating in the ceremonies for the celebration of the Eucharist in St. Brigids Church Drumcong on Sat 2^nd August at 5.00pm.

Knock Pilgrimage on Sun 13^th July: We thank Kiltubrid Care of the Aged Committee for organising the above. The Pilgrimage and wholesome meal in Cardiffs was appreciated by all.

Confessions: There will be confessions after Mass in St. Brigids Church on Fri evening 1^st August and before Mass in St. Josephs Church on Sat evening 2^nd August.
