Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock: The Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place this Sunday 7th September. The Sacrament of the anointing of the sick takes place at 2.30 pm. Mass and the Eucharistic blessing of the Sick takes place with Benediction at 3:00 pm.
Clonmacnios Pattern Day: The Clomacnois Pattern Day takes place next Sunday 14th September. The pilgrimage walk begins at 11:00am. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated at 3:00pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards in Ballinahown Hall
Introduction to Childminding: Training for childminders and potential childminders “Introduction to Childminding” starts Monday 15th February 7:30 – 10:00pm running 1 evening per week for 6 weeks in The Breffni Centre, Breffni House, Breffni Cresent, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. The cost of this course is €35 and a booking deposit of €10 is required to secure your place. 9 /11 Commemoration – Fr Mychal Judge 7th Anniversary: To honour the life & memory of Fr Mychal Judge and remember the terrorist attack in New York there will be a wreath laying and prayer ceremony in the Fr Mychal Judge Memorial Garden on Thursday 11th September at 7pm.
