Fixtures & results
Our minor team had another good win over our neighbours Leitrim Gaels
on Saturday last. This puts us in second place and a semi final spot
awaits. Our division 5 team werent so lucky when we lost our second
game of the season to a sharper Sean O'Heslins team in Ballinamore
also on Saturday. The next Div 5 game is a home game against
Carrigallen probally next week.
On Sunday next our Division 3 team take on Bornacoola at 2pm in Dromod
and our Division 4 team take on St Marys at 4pm in Carrick. Our U14s
take on Annaduff in Kiltubrid on Monday at 12.00 noon.The 2012 Shield
kicks off on Monday next at 2pm when we take on Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher
in Glenfarne at 2pm and Leitrim take on Clare in Ennis this Sunday and
in the Connacht Minor League Leitrim take on Sligo on Saturday.

Membership
All players, underage & adult, are again reminded to be covered by the
GAA insurance you must have your 2012 membership paid before you start
back training. All outstanding membership should be paid to club
register Finbarr Keaney by the weekend at the latest. Any person who
has paid 2012 club membership and may not yet have received a
membership car sticker please text your name to Finbarr on
086-8196535 and he will get it to you in the coming days
Scor
Well done to all who took part in Scor Sinsear Leitrim Co. Final in
Mohill on Saturday night last. We were represented by Micheal
McKiernan in Solo Singing, Alan Clarke, Damien McKeon, John Shanley
and Declan Tivnan in the Ballad Group and Micheal McKiernan, David
McWeeney and Mary O'Connor in Questiontime.
A big thank you to all who have put in such tremendous effort in
preparing for Scor over the past year and to our loyal supporters who
always come and cheer us on."
Buffet
Please mark in your diary Easter Sunday night April 8th as the clubs
Annual Buffet and awards night takes place in Cardiffs Lakeside Tavern
Drumcong. Music on the night is by Alan Clarke and tickets which are
€15.00 will be on sale in the coming week.
Bon Voyage
We would like to say bon voyge to Brendan Meehan, Shane Gilmartin and
his girlfriend Patricia and also to Stephen Guckian who are all
heading abroad to Australia and to Canada in the next few weeks.
Unfortunately its a sign of the times when we see the young people of
the parish going away to work so we wish them safe travelling and hope
they have a great time on their travells but please dont forget to
come back to us.
Under Coaching 2012
The new football season for all boys & girls kicks off on Saturday
week the 24th March from 10 to 11am. All boys & girls aged between 5
to 10 are more than welcome to come along and have a go. Just arrive
on the day to the pitch for 10 am sharp. Parents are asked just to
make sure that all kids come with clothing to suit the weather
conditions on the day. In anticipation of the new season, our band of
merry coaches have been busy gaining their coaching qualifications &
improving their skill sets over the winter period. Hope to see all the
old faces & plenty of new ones on the day.
