Sympathy
The club wish to extend their deepest sympathies to the family of the late Jerome McKiernan, Murhaun, Drumshanbo who passed away on Sunday last at his home. May he rest in peace.
Scor Sinsear
Well done to everyone who participated in the Senior Scor last Saturday night in St. Marys hall in Carrick-on-Shannon. We would like to thank all those who supported on the night. Our representatives took part in the solo singing, question time, novelty act and ballad group and really did our club proud. Congratulations to our ballad group and novelty act who now go through to the county final, which takes place in the Community Centre in Ballinamore this Saturday night 5th March. Your support would be much appreciated on the night. Good luck to all concerned.
Cash for Clobber
Just to remind you that Kiltubrid GAA are having a clothing recycling collection this Saturday 5th March between 10.00am and 5.00pm at the football pitch. There will be a sign as to where to leave the bags. Anyone having a clear out can recycle their old clothes, bags, shoes, hats, belts, towels, curtains and bed linen. Books can also be recycled (no old phonebooks please) as long as they are put in a separate bags. We would appreciate if you take this opportunity to get rid of such items. Please support this collection as the funds raised from this will go towards the running of our football club.
The Kiltubrid International Talent Show
Kiltubrid GAA are holding their first ever Talent Show in the coming weeks. For anyone who can sing, dance, recite, tell jokes or basically do anything that they think would entertain people, then please start practising. Each of our local publicans will be holding a heat of the competition. It kicks starts on 12th March in Mc Keons, Hillsbrook House, Keshcarrigan, on 26th March in Cardiffs, Lakeside Tavern, Drumcong, on 2nd April in Gerties, Keshcarrigan, 9th April in McNama, Sheemore Lounge, Kilclare and on 16th April in Mc Murphys, Liscarbon. The final takes place on 23rd April in Cardiffs Lakeside Tavern, Drumcong. The two acts that gets the most votes on each night will go forward to a final for which there will be a substantial cash prize. Participants can take part in solo acts, families, groups and can participate on more than one night if they fail to qualify initially. Publicans will need to know in advance of how many acts they have so please dont be shy, if you are not approached and you feel that you have something entertaining to do contact the pub of your choice in our parish.
Leitrim GAA Supporters Club
Leitrim GAA Supporters Club tickets are now on sale at 40 euro each. These are available from Marie Lee, Patricia Lee, Dermot Heeran or any committee member. A leitrim scarf will be given to each person that purchases a ticket to mark the 25th anniversary of the Leitrim Supporters Club. Thanks to everyone who has purchased tickets to-date.

Community Games
Well done to the following from our parish who took part in the Drumshanbo Area Community Games art competitions on Friday evening last in Drumshanbo Vocational School: Under 10 boys - 1st place Barry McWeeney, under 8 boys - 1st place Danny McWeeney, Under 8 girls - 1st place Eadaoin Lee and 3rd place Claire McWeeney. The winners now quality for the community games county final.
Hurling Meeting
Players, parents, mentors, managers and officers are invited to a start up meeting of the new Carrick Area Regional Hurling Club this Sunday 6th March at 5.30pm in the Bush Hotel. Please spread the word to others you think would be interested.
