Wedding Bells
Best wishes from all in Kiltubrid GAA to Gearoid Foley and his new bride Thi Chung, who were married in Perth, Australia over the festive period. A large contingent of family and friends travelled over for the big event and from the reports a fantastic time was had by all. Please bring back some of that Aussie Sun when you return. Congratulations and best wishes also to Nicola Kelly and Brendan Barry, who started the New Year off in style by celebrating their wedding on Saturday last amongst family and friends. Rumour has it that the party is still going strong in Kilclare. We wish both couples a lifetime of health and happiness.
New Arrival
Congratulations to Lisa and Owen Kane on the arrival of a bouncing boy named Ollie.

Sympathy
Kiltubrid GAA would like to express its sincere sympathy to Carmel Moran and the extended Moran Family on the death of Liam Moran, Mullaghgarve. It has been an extremely difficult year in the Moran household and our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.
Scor Na nOg
Kiltubrid were very well represented in this year’s Scor Na nOg Semi Finals in Mohill on Saturday last. Setting us off to a good start were the Figure Dancers comprising of Tara Keaney, Eadaoin Lee, Amy Moran, Alanna McGovern, Saoirse McGovern, Riona McKeon, Caoimhe O’Connor and Lauren Tivnan.
Ciara Ferry, Eadaoin Lee, Barry McWeeney, Orla McWeeney and Lauren Tivnan played two beautiful tunes in the Instrumental Music.
In Question Time, Kian Gibbons, Leah McNabola, Orla McWeeney and Emer O’Connor scored very well.
Our Illustration directed by Ronan Geoghegan titled “Self Sufficiency” acted by Alana Geoghegan, Riona McKeon, Diarmuid Mac Tiarnain, Emer O’Connor and James Tighe provided excellent entertainment . We greatly appreciate the time put in by Micheal Geoghegan and Barra Mac Tiarnain in preparing the props for the Illustration.
Thank you to all the supporters who came to cheer on the teams. A special Thank You to Katja Ahul who gave of her time to train the dancers, to Liam Ferry for training the Music Group and to Ronan Geoghegan for writing and directing the Illustration.
Well done to all the Acts on excellent performances and Good Luck to the Question Time Team and to Ronan and the Illustration Team in the County Final. This takes place next Sunday January 12th at 2pm in St. Mary’s Hall, Ck-on-Shannon. A special word of thanks also to our Scor Coordinator, Mary O’Connor, for all the work in the background bringing it all together
