Fixtures and results
After an eventful weekend in Kiltubrid with stag and hen parties there was also time for a bit of football. On Saturday evening our Junior B team qualified for the County final when we defeated Aughawillian on a score line of 1-70 to 0-5. We are fixed to play Aughavas in the Junior B County on Friday week, September 27th, under lights in Cloone at 8.00 pm. More about this fixture next week.
On Thursday night our under 16 team lost the opening round of the championship to Aughnasheelin at home in Kiltubrid. Training for the under 16 team takes place on Tuesday evening from 7.00pm to 8:30 pm. Please check the fixtures for confirmation of round 2 of the under 16 championship.
Congratulations
Congratulations and best wishes to Sean Hagan our new Leitrim Manager we wish him every success. Sean is no stranger to Leitrim or Kiltubrid football, he managed our senior team when we won the senior championship in 2005.
All Ireland appearance
The Club would like to wish Diarmuid Mc Kiernan best of luck on Sunday next when he takes part in the half time exhibition game during the Senior All Ireland final in Croke park on Sunday.

Sympathy
Kiltubrid GAA would like to express its sincere sympathy to the extended Mc Cormack family Drumshanbo and Sligo on the sudden and tragic loss of Dean McCormack , Sligo. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time, may he rest in peace.
Birth
Everyone doing it in the double these times and so we would like to congratulate Raymond, Maura and Scott Harris on the birth of their beautiful little twin girls. Congratulations also to proud grandparents Cathal and Mary Harris on two more beautiful grandchildren.
