Ned and Nellie Tie the Knot -
After weeks of speculation, the wedding of Nellie and Ned finally took place on Sun 24th October. After a few hiccupps and hilarious carrying on, we finally got the happy couple hitched. We would like to thank each and every one of the cast involved, you all played your parts fantastically and without people like you that are up for a laugh, it would not have been possible. We would also like to thank those who provided transport on the day, the horse and trap, flowers, wedding cake, recorded the dvd, photos, helped with the sound and advertising of the event, to James and Eilish Cardiff and all the mummers who dressed up and took part in the fun on the night. Thanks also to Alan Clarke, Jim and Jane, Paul McCarty and Alan Nahganom for music at the wedding. It was a huge success and a great night was enjoyed by all. The winner of the 'Guess the length of the Bestman's Speech' was Carmel Murphy, Kesh. Well done Carmel! This wedding was all down to the creater of 'Nellie & Ned' who was the one and only Brian Meehan. He was the producer, director, co ordinator and the star of the show. The club would like to say a sincere thanks for all the time and effort that Brian put into it, it is very much appreciated by all. Last but not least thank you to you our supporters for coming along in huge numbers and supporting, we hope you enjoyed the event.
