Ulster Bank GAA Force
Kiltubrid GAA would like to invite everyone in the parish to join with them in the celebration of their winning of the Ulster Bank GAA Force competition on Saturday morning 9th November at 10.00am at the pitch. Please come along for some food, presentation of underage medals, awards, refreshments and fun on the day.
Fixtures and results
Unfortunately things didn’t go our way on Saturday morning last when our under 16’s were beaten by a single point by Garadice Gaels in the County Final played in Aughnasheelin. In what proved to be a game of two halves we had a big hill to climb in the second half with a half time score line of, Kiltubrid 0-1 to Garadice 0-6. The team put in a gallant effort in the second half losing out narrowly at the final whistle on a score line of 0-8 to 0-7. However the players and management have done themselves proud throughout the year. We look forward to a bright future with this group of players. This was also the last competitive fixture at all grades in the club for 2013.
Congratulations to Gardice Gaels on their win and also well done to Aughnasheelin GAA for having their pitch in excellent shape, despite the heavy rain overnight.
Doing the double again
Congratulations and best wishes from all in the club to Derek and Regina Foley on the birth of their gorgeous twin boys, Ethan and Tom. Congratulations also to the proud grandparents Dessie and Kathleen Foley and Willie and Patricia Bohan on their lovely new grandchildren.
Birthdays
Celebrating their birthdays this week is Lisa Mc Weeney, Conor Judge, Deirdre Ferry, Kevin Meehan, Breda Holohan and Carmel Keaney. We hope you all enjoy your birthdays and that you all celebrate in style.
