Croke Park Outing
Congratulations and well done to Diarmuid Mc Kiernan who played in the exhibition game during the all Ireland final where he scored a point and set up his team for a goal. He also ran in to the two Mayo midfielder’s, Seamus & Aidan O’Shea, in the tunnel and was delighted to see that they were togged out in the Kiltubrid colour!!!. From what we hear a great day was had by both the Mc Kiernan & Meehan families.
Sympathy
Kiltubrid GAA would like to express it sincere sympathy to the family of Padraig Griffin, Carrick on Shannon, who passed away over the weekend. Padraig had a long association with Kiltubrid, having played with our club for a long number of years and was renowned as a classy forward. Padraig was involved in the club when we reformed in the late 70’s and was at the helm as manager when we won our first adult championship in 1981. He was a regular spectator in Pairc Sean at GAA games for years and would always take a keen interest when Kiltubrid were involved. To his wife Teresa, daughters Orla and Sinead, sons Peadar, Colm and Rory, sisters Aine and Brid, brother Mel and extended family and large circle of friends we extend our sympathies.
