Fixtures and results
Our Senior team had a one point win in the league at home against Drumreilly on Saturday evening, final score 1-6 to 1-5. Our Div 3 and division 5 teams teams didn't fare as well in their games at the weekend loosing to Melvin Gaels and St Marys respectively. On Friday next 11th May our under 16 team play St Marys in Carrick at 7pm. On Saturday next May 12th our Senior team play Sean O'Heslins in Kiltubrid at 7pm also. Please confirm dates and times as always.
Community Games- Drumshanbo Area
There was a very enjoyable evening at Drumshanbo pitch on Friday 27th of April. Over 80 chilren took part in athletics from both the Drumshanbo and Kiltubrid areas. Well done to everyone who took part and especially the athletes who qualifed for the community games county final in Manorhamilton on Sunday. Thank you to the Drumshanbo area for hosting the event and all the volunteers from both areas who helped out to allow the evening to run so smoothly.
Athletics
Well done to all the children from St. Brigid's National School Drumcong who attended the Leitrim Primary Schools Track and Field Championships in Manorhamilton on Sunday last. A large number of pupils participated and the school finished in second place overall. Well done to all concerned.
U8/ U10 blitz
The next blitz will take place on Saturday next in our own pitch at 10.30am where we host neighbours Allen Gaels.
Sympathy
The club would like to extend its sympathy to the relations and friends of Peter Mulvey who was buried in Kiltubrid last week, may he rest in peace.
Get well wishes
We would like to wish John Mc Govern and Barra McKiernan a very speedy recovery after they picked up injuries at the weekend and we hope there is no lasting damange done!
Welcome Home
We would like to welcome home Shane Foley, Miranda Burke (soon to be Mrs Foley) and Jack, we wish them all the best not only for Friday but for many happy years of married life ahead.
