Engagement
Congratulations to Nellie and Ned who have just announced their engagement. Rumour has it that the couple intend to tie the knot at the end of October...... Best wishes from everyone in Kiltubrid GAA Club.
Club Calendar
The Club are compiling a calendar for 2011 and it will be made up of photos of events that took place in the parish over the year or indeed anything to do with the parish. If anyone has any photos of anything they think would be suitable and would like them to be included please forward them to secretary.kiltubrid.leitrim@gaa.ie before 1st September 2010. This calendar is being run as a fundraiser so we will be contacting the businesses in the parish for sponsorship if they would like to advertise their business in the calendar.
Wedding Bells
Congratulations to Geraldine Carroll, Carrickport and Sean McLoughlin who got married on Saturday last and held their reception in the Landmark Hotel. Best wishes to both in their future together.
Championship
Our senior championship title hopes came to an end last Saturday following defeat to St Mary's in the semi final which was held in Pairc Sean. The focus now reverts to the Junior B Championship this Sunday in Aughawillan at 1pm where we take on Leitrim Gaels in the next round. Please support if you can.
Minors
Our minors take on Bornacoola today (Wednesday) at 7pm in Bornacoola in the Minor C Championship.
