Community Games
It was great to see the Drumshanbo area community games athletics take place again after a lapse of several years. It took place at Kiltubrid GAA pitch last Wednesday evening. The rain held off for the large crowd in attendance. Thirty eight boys and thirty eight girls participated. Well done to all those who qualified in each event for the finals which were held in Manorhamilton on Saturday last: Under 8 girls 60m- 1st Maria Mc Grenaghan, 2nd Emma Honeyman, 3rd Leah Gilmartin. Under 8 boys 60m- 1st Ronan Moran, 2nd Conal Doyle, 3rd Danny Mc Weeney. Under 10 girls 100m- 1st Meabh Mc Nulty, 2nd Chantelle Gilmartin, 3rd Caoimhe Mc Garry. Under 10 boys 100m- 1st James Honeyman, 2nd Fionn O Brien, 3rd Sean Mc Nabola. Under 12 girls 100m- 1st Roisin Mc grenaghan, 2nd Orla Mc Weeney, 3rd Ann Marie Clarke. Under 12 boys 100m- 1st Paddy Kelly, 2nd James Tighe, 3rd Kian Gibbons. Under 14 girls 100m- 1st Caroline Doherty, 2nd Sarah Mc Cormack. Under 14 boys 100m- 1st Samuel Flynn. Under 8 girls 80m- 1st Emma Honeyman, 2nd Maria Mc Grenaghan, 3rd Leah Lynch. Under 8 boys 80m- 1st Ronan Moran, 2nd Danny Mc Weeney, 3rd Conal Doyle. Under 10 girls 200m- 1st Maeve Mc Nulty, 2nd Lauren Tivnan, 3rd Emily Gilmartin. Under 10 boys 200m- 1st James Honeyman, 2nd Fionn O Brien, 3rd Barry Mc Weeney. Under 12 girls 600m- 1st Orla Mc Weeney, 2nd Roisin Mc Grenaghan, 3rd Troy Johnston. Under 12 boys 6oom- 1st James Tighe, 2nd Paddy Kelly, 3rd Diarmuid Mc Kiernan. Under 12 Ball throw- 1st James Honeyman, 2nd James Tighe, 3rd Fionn O Brien. Under 12 boys long puck- 1st Fionn O Brien, 2nd Diarmuid Mc Kiernan, 3rd Kian Gibbons. The majority of the above winners went to represent their area at the county Community games which was held at Manorhamilton on Saturday last 21 May. Well done to the parents and/children who turned up on such a wet afternoon. The medal winners on the day in the individual events were Maria Mc Grenaghan 60m (3rd), James Honeyman 100m (3rd), Paddy Kelly 100m (2nd),Roisin Mc Grenaghan 100m (3rd), Orla Mc Weeney 600m (3rd)and Diarmuid Mc Kiernan Long Puck (2nd). Relay teams under 12 girls 2nd Ann Marie Clarke, Roisin Mc Grenaghan,Chloe Mc Garry and Orla Mc Weeney. Relay teams under 12 Boys (3rd) Kian Gibbons, Diarmuid Mc Kiernan, Paddy Kelly and James Tighe. Finally we would just like to say a big thank you to all the parents who helped out in any way but especially on Wednesday evening at Kiltubrid pitch. The next fixture date for our athletes is Monday 7th June Ballinamore Open sports day.
Underage Fundraiser
Kiltubrid Underage GAA are hosting a night with Jenny Woods, Style Consultant and Colour Me Beautiful Expert this Friday night 27th May at 8.30pm in McKeon's Hillsbrook House Keshcarrigan. Advice on dressing for your shape as well as Captain French Clothing on sale on the night with huge reductions of 50% to 70% off. Entry Fee is €10 which includes entry to a draw for a luxury hamper. Raffle also on the night. Please support.
Underage Training
Training continues as usual this Saturday at 10am for all children from Under 6 to U10. We thank all the parents who have helped out to date and wish to remind others to check the rota to see when they are on duty. Some jerseys were not returned after the last blitz. Please return these next Saturday morning.
Well done Leitrim
We say well done to our Leitrim Senior Team who had a terrific win over Sligo on Sunday last and now progress to the Connacht Semi Final on 12th June v Roscommon in Pairc Sean.
Guess the Score
Thanks to all those who supported our recent club fundraiser. Three lucky winners predicted the correct score for Leitrims victory over Sligo last Sunday. The winners were Breda Holohan Funshinagh, Philip Leydon Dromahair and Shane Gilmartin Kilclare.

Fixtures
Next Saturday 28th May our Division 2 team play Eslin at 6pm in Kiltubrid. Then on Sunday the division 3 team are in action against Annaduff at home at 2pm.
