Fixtures & Results
Well done to our Junior B team who started this years championship campaign with a well deserved win against St Osnatts on Sunday morning in Drumkeernan. The final score line being 4-9 to 0-5. It was great to see a number of younger players making their championship debuts, not to mention the few slightly older soldiers who also lined out.
Under 16 final
There are no adult fixtures this week. However, the one important fixture this week is the under 16 league final. This takes place on Wednesday evening 19th June in Fenagh at 7:30pm against Garadice Gaels. If you have time to spare please make the effort to drop over to Fenagh to shout on this great bunch of players. Best of luck to the players and team mentors from all in the club.
Leitrim V London
Best of luck to the Leitrim players and management team in the Connaught semi final on Sunday next. Its now up to all the Leitrim supporters to come out and cheer on the lads. Don’t forget this entire team of players and mentors have put in huge time and effort over the last number of months for the overall good of Leitrim GAA and we wish them all the best on the day and hopefully a Connaught final is on the way.
Congratulations Underage National School Players
Five underage players from our club have been selected to referee at various exhibition games during the All-Ireland championship series. Fionn O’Brien and Isabella McKeown will referee the exhibition games at the half time interval in Carrick on Sunday next. Chloe McGovern will referee a half time exhibition game at the Connaught final, and Laura Redican and Gary Beirne will referee an exhibition game at the All Ireland Semi final.
Diarmuid MacThiarnain has been selected to play at an exhibition game at the All Ireland final. We would like to thank Micheal Mc Kiernan for coordinating this event and Finbarr Keaney for assisting to mentor the children in refereeing. We wish each and every one of them the best of luck on the day.

On Saturday morning next we are holding our Bike Day and we would like to invite all the boys and girls and all adults too to come along to training on Saturday morning next on their bicycles. We will be holding little competitions for bike trials and various other competitions on the day and there will be prizes galore. There will be goodies for all who take part on the day and refreshments for participants will be available also, so please come along on Saturday morning for some fun which will take place after training from 11.15am - 12.00.
