Fixtures and results.
On Saturday evening last we played our first game of the 2013 senior championship when we took on Mohill in Carrigallen. It was certainly a game of two halves, early on in the first half we were denied what looked to be a clear cut penalty and we looked out of contention by half time, in the second half we came back well and after a tight finish to the game we came out on the wrong side of a 2-6 to 1 -6 scoreline. However well done to Mohill on a well earned victory and also to the Carrigallen club for having their fine facilities in perfect condition for both games.
The Under 16 team had another good win in Aughavas on Friday evening last. This win set us up that should we win our last game against Glenfarne/ Kiltclogher we will make the playoffs for a league final place. This Glenfarne/ Kiltyclogher game has been fixed for Tuesday evening 28th May at 8pm in Glenfarne.
The Division 3 team have two fixtures next weekend. On Friday evening May 31st we play Carrigallen at home at 8 pm and on Bank holiday Monday at 12 noon we play Aughavas away. While on Sunday morning 2nd June the Division 1 team play Gortletteragh away at 12 noon. Your support as always would be very much appreciated.
