Congratulations
We would like to congratulate Tom Pat and Lily Carroll on their recent
40th wedding Anniversary, Tom Pat and Lily are great club supporters
and we all wish them many more years of health and happiness together.
The Daily Star newspaper
The club have been nominated to receive a free underage team playing
kit by the Daily Star Newspaper and as this is the last week to
collect the tokens (the Star Heading, date and barcode) we would be
delighted if anyone had some to leave them into Cardiffs, Scollans
Gala, or to Drumcong National School.
We would be very grateful for you support with this.
Scrap Metal Collection
We would like to thank everyone who gave to our scrap Metal
Collection, it was a huge success and also a huge thank you to all the
fellas who helped out coming to meetings and giving their time
gathering and delivering the scrap. To anyone who might still have
stuff to get rid of (old washing machines, old machinery, car/ tractor
batteries, sheets of iron, old ranges, old cars) anything metal,
whether it be big or small, its still not too late so please contact:

Training
Training for Under 14 takes place on Tuesday and Thursday nights 6-7pm
and training for the minors is Tuesday and Thursday nights 6-7pm
also.The minors play Aughavas this weekend at home so please check
fixtures for time and date.
Leitrim
Hard luck to the Leitrim team who were defeated by Limerick last
weekend. They face Carlow next weekend so we wish them well.
Membership 2012
Club membership for 2012 for all adult players, coaches, underage
players, officials & members is now due. In order to be properly
insured, it is vitally important that All players and team coaches
have their membership paid up before the start of any competitions.
Membership for 2012 is €30.00 for all adults & €20.00 for underage.
Please contact Club Registrar Finbarr Keaney on 086-8196535 to get
your membership paid up ASAP.

Sympathy
We would like to express our sympathy to the Doherty family, Kilclare,
on the loss of Kevin Doherty, Kevin lived for a time in Kilclare and
his death was a huge shock to all.
We would like to express our sympathy to Seamus Mc Manus, and family,
Dublin and formerly Drumgud, Drumcong on the very sad passing of his
wife Catherine. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time.
Also our sympathy to the Tighe Family Leitrim Hill Drumcong on the
death of Annie Tighe, Annie was a great GAA supporter and especially
to her home county Armagh, may she rest in peace.
Birthday
We would like to wish Jane O' Regan a very happy 40th birthday and
hope the celebrations went well, congratulations Jane and also
celebrating their birthdays this week is Sinead Tighe and Sinead Foley
so happy birthday girls!
